Call for Scrum Day MN 2019 Speakers!
Be a part of our annual event bringing the Agile and Scrum community in Minnesota together for a day of learning, networking and fun!
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Product Ownership Topics: to qualify as a presenter you must be an active, empowered Product Owner with fiscal responsibility for the Product as well as authority over the schedule and scope decisions. No administrative roles who are Product Owner in name only please. We’re looking for your experience, ideas and advice for other Product Owners on: managing stakeholder expectations, what to do as a new Product Owner, sustaining Agility as a long time Product Owner and/or overcoming pitfalls in an organization as a Product Owner. Any industry is welcome – doesn’t have to be software!
Scrum Master Topics: to qualify as a presenter you must be in an active, full time Scrum Master role serving not only the Development Team but the Organization and the Product Owner. No time-sliced Scrum Master in name only roles please. We’re looking for your experience, ideas and advice for other Scrum Masters on: building trust within the Development Team, building trust between a PO and the Dev Team, getting the Organization to see the SM as the “coach” and/or any tips, tricks or people skills you have learned that have made you a better Scrum Master.
Development Team Topics: to qualify as a presenter you must be an active, full time member of a cross-functional Development Team. No shared services or time-sliced teams please. We’re looking for your experience, ideas and advice for others on how you promote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, continue to deliver value, tips to reduce technical debt and more!
Organizational Topics: to qualify as a presenter you must be an active employee of an organization that is adopting or transforming with Agile or Scrum in a leadership capacity outside of the Scrum Team. Attendees of Scrum Day MN love to hear tips from real leaders on how they overcame organizational resistance to change, what’s working to promote agility, what hasn’t worked and how they are sustaining their agility. All industries welcome – doesn’t have to be software!
